Moyles has been given some stiff competition for listeners by John Humphrys recently, after the veteran broadcaster attracted more than 7million listeners to his Today programme – just 100,000 less than the Radio 1 DJ has for his show.
, filmed in front of a studio audience, will focus on a huge "dating machine" containing single men and women.
Sky's head of entertainment Duncan Gray has described the series as "funny, entertaining, and at times painfully honest".
The Love Machine is a dating show which starts out with 8 different people standing in 'pods' in the Love Machine.
Moyles has apparently made several trips to Dublin to spend time with Mc Ginnity and the stars had a number of flirty exchanges on Twitter which have since been deleted.When she appeared on last year’s X Factor finals reporting from her native Essex, many viewers struggled to understand her above the din caused by crowds and her performance was largely panned by critics.The pair are set to play cupid on the new game show, which will aim to replicate the success of ITV’s dating offering Take Me Out.Couples will choose each other based solely on attraction, before two of the new pairings battle it out by tackling issues such as sex, money and chemistry.The winning couple - who have the choice to drop their date for an "upgrade" - will be sent on a holiday for two.
